So, Whats my story?

If I’m taking your photographs, you may want to know a little bit about the smily face behind the camera …

From a very young age, I was constantly taking photographs on whatever I could get my hands on, whether that being the digital camera I was given for school trips, or family members phones, anything I liked the look of had to be photographed.

After finishing education, the time had come where I was able to choose what I actually wanted to do with my future. It was really a no brainer for me, capturing some of the best moments of peoples lives was what I wanted to do. To this day, I have to take a step back and appreciate how amazing my job is. I meet so many individuals who truly feel like family, and being apart of special moments they wish to cherish is a honour.

To date, I have taken on over 45 magical weddings and have been awarded Best Photography Service in Mid-Wales 2025, and have been nominated for The Best Photography Service across the whole of Wales for 2026, this will be announced in March 2026! I am so grateful to have been given this award, considering this is my second year solo. If it wasn’t for my amazing clients, I wouldn’t be where I am today, so thank you!

In a small nutshell, that’s my story of how I am here today! I will forever be grateful for my lovely couples and clients for keeping me busy, everyday is completely different and I love it!!! From capturing first kisses, to the first family photoshoot with your new mini you, Beth J photography is there for every magical moment that life throws at you. With me, not only will you be booking a photographer, you will be booking a friend for life.
